M-Glucan is a source of purified β-1,3/1,6-glucans from Saccharomyces cerevisiae‘s cell wall fractions processed in a highly controlled system.
What it delivers
The yeast cells are processed in a highly controlled system to optimize the content in β-1,3/1,6-glucans. The yeast mannoprotein outer layer is removed to increase β-glucans’ exposure while respecting the molecular structure of M-Glucan, which comprises a β-1,3 poly-glucose backbone with β -1,3-1,6 branched β-1,3 poly-glucose side chains. Such a unique molecular structure is essential for immune enhancing activity of β-1,3/1,6-glucans.
